We had a fantastic stay at Charlottes Cottage in a perfect location for walks. the cottage was comfortable and well equipped, and the nearby car park was convenient. We loved being able to use public transport to Hathersage and then walk up to the cottage for a tucked-away getaway. the bed and hot shower were much appreciated after a day of hiking or cycling. the cows outside provided entertaining moments, although one was a bit noisy during our last night.
Absolutely nothing! 👍

During my recent trip to Bamford, I had the opportunity to stay at Charlottes Cottage. Although I was only there for a transit stay, I found the hotel to be conveniently located near the nearest airport, which was just 45 km away from the accommodation. This made my travel experience much easier and more efficient, ensuring that I didn't have to worry about long commutes or missing my flight.
One minor drawback that I encountered during my stay at Charlottes Cottage was the issue with the shower. Initially, I couldn't get it to work properly, and it was quite frustrating.

Located in a picturesque setting with stunning views, Charlottes Cottage provides a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the owners is evident, with a goodies basket and clean and comfortable accommodations. The surrounding area offers access to good pubs and places to explore. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is a comfortable lounge with good WiFi and a TV.
The lane leading to the property is in poor condition.

Had a blast playing golf and cycling nearby. The complimentary WiFi was a lifesaver, and the private parking made me feel like a VIP. Manchester Airport was just a hop, skip, and a jump away. Loved the cozy seating area, microwave for quick snacks, and spacious dining area.
Oh, and let's not forget the joy of driving on that charmingly bumpy lane. Such a treat for my car!

I simply adored the cozy and charming decor of the cottage. The floral wallpaper and vintage furniture reminded me of my own home from years ago. The common areas were spacious and easy to navigate, perfect for senior people like me. I felt right at home from the moment I stepped through the door.
The only thing I would have asked for is a bit more assistance from the children working there. Maybe having someone available to help us carry our luggage up the stairs or offering some guidance on the low-ceilinged bedroom would have made our vacation even more enjoyable.

This beautiful little getaway cottage was mind-blowing! It was super cosy and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a short break. The cleanliness and maintenance were top-notch, and the owner's thoughtful gift basket upon arrival was a pleasant surprise. The location was jaw-dropping, with amazing walks and good local facilities nearby. A perfect spot for a couples' getaway, especially for those without a car as public transport is easily accessible. The bed was comfy, and the hot shower was just what we needed after a long day of hiking or cycling. The washing machine was a lifesaver for our muddy clothes, although an accompanying airer would have been useful. The views from the cottage were fantastic, and the arrival hamper, including essentials like milk, butter, and jam, was a lovely touch. a superb stay with only a minor disturbance from the cows outside.

Our stay at Charlottes Cottage was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect for a quiet and peaceful getaway. We loved being tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet still having easy access to beautiful walks and local facilities. The cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a couples' retreat. The thoughtful arrival hamper, which included essentials like milk, butter, and jam, was a lovely touch. We especially enjoyed the fantastic views from the cottage, it truly added to the overall charm of our stay. Despite the low headroom in the bedroom, which we were pre-warned about, it did not pose a problem for us. we highly recommend Charlottes Cottage for a delightful and relaxing vacation.
